Whether it’s shop a bit every day…or do a big shop weekly. The effort you put in to stocking up on the best ingredients is gonna be the most important factor in preparing healthy meals.
Tonight I was ravenous!!
My blender broke and so I missed my lunch shake. I ate clean food…only because I was able to rummage in the kitchen and find fresh produce.
My mission in this program was to always have clean unprocessed food in the kitchen.
Today was extra busy so I settled for a convenient ready made cottage pie for the family, as it was late in the evening when i got to shop. (ingredient list was clear….a list of foodstuffs and no mysterious chemical compounds!)
Me though….I managed to fish a salmon fillet from the freezer…and fried up a variety of veg with a little scoop of tikka masala paste and a squeeze of lime. Tasty.
Optimistic too with the list of fresh ingredients and wholefoods I brought home including these beautiful tasting clementines that are full of flavour!
Bonus too!! Came home and saw a brand new blender from hubby!!!! Less stress tomorrow! Yay!
